INFLUENCE & TIMELINE TO LOCKING

THE PBS AFRICAN -AMERICAN DANCE TIMELINE

NOTE :.. The PBS ,African American Dance Timeline , chronologically tracks African american dance from the 1600s to the present, emphasizing such important issues and events , as mistrial, black face , and black imitation , but it does not include the street and party styles from the 1960s & 70s, through Locking ,Robot, Popping B Boy , HipHop and other street contributions , however we found it important to post this site so there may be a better understanding of the exploitation and misuse of black dance creativity, so those uneducated can understand our need to protect todays contributions from experiencing the same, why are there those who are so protective of the cultural connection.. here is your answers
